What is at stake.
The moving roof is the most complex piece of the building and sits on the critical path from steel to testing. The roof, the field and the seating each had their own schedule. The integrated finish date did not exist.
How we control it.
What our schedulers and cost engineers are doing on this project.
Roof integrated
Roof steel, mechanisms, controls and testing are built into one master schedule with the bowl and field.
Turf has its own clock
Field turf growth and the roof's light and air are modeled together, since the grass needs time the building cannot give back.
Risk analysis
Quarterly Monte Carlo runs give the owner P50 and P80 opening dates, with the roof risks named.
Board dashboard
A monthly dashboard shows schedule, cost and risk in one view for the stadium authority board.
Where it stands.
Opening day sold out before the roof was steel. That is the date every activity in this schedule answers to.
