Recover · Independent Schedule Review

Test the date before you own it.

An independent review of any schedule by people with no stake in it. Before a contract, before notice to proceed, before a lender funds, or any time the dates stop feeling right.

What a review finds.

01

A finish held up by constraints

Hard constraints and long lags can force a schedule to show the date everyone wants. Remove them and the real finish appears.

02

Scope that is simply missing

Commissioning, inspections, utility work and owner activities left out. The schedule is short because the job inside it is short.

03

Accepted without reading

An approved baseline becomes the yardstick for every delay argument that follows. Its mistakes become your exposure.

How we work

How we review.

  1. 01

    Run the 14-point checks

DCMA-style tests for logic, leads, lags, relationship types, hard constraints, high and negative float, durations and more. Score your own in the Schedule Health Check in our Controls Lab.

  2. 02

Trace the critical path by hand

We walk the longest path activity by activity and confirm it runs through real work, not through a constraint or a dangling open end.

  3. 03

    Hold it against the contract

Milestones, access dates, phasing and owner obligations checked against the agreement, the drawings and the specification.

  4. 04

    Sense check the durations

Key durations and production rates compared to what similar work has actually taken, with the outliers listed.

  5. 05

    Report in plain language

A short, ranked list: what to fix before you accept, what to watch, and what is fine as it stands.

What you walk away with.

Scoped to your project. Native files and plain-English outputs that stay yours when we leave.

In practice · Data Center Substation & Utility Interconnect

No power, no data center.

A 345 kV, 300 MW substation and utility interconnect, delivered EPC over 22 months. Before the energization date went to the owner’s tenants, the utility’s own work was put on the same critical path as the owner’s, the logic and equipment deliveries were tested, and every condition the date depended on was listed.

Straight answers to fair questions.

How long does a review take?

A focused baseline review usually takes one to two weeks once we have the native file. Larger programs take longer, and we confirm the timeline up front.

What do you need from us?

The native XER or MPP file, the contract milestones and any narrative. A PDF alone is not enough to test the logic.

Can a lender or investor engage you directly?

Yes. We review schedules for lenders and investors before funding and during construction, independent of the owner and the builder.

Can we check a schedule ourselves first?

Yes. The Schedule Health Check in our Controls Lab scores a schedule in two minutes. If the score worries you, send us the file.
