What is at stake.
Design, medical equipment, IT, activation and the patient move each had their own schedule. None of them shared a data date. The owner had already announced the move, and the integrated critical path did not exist yet.
How we control it.
What our schedulers and cost engineers are doing on this project.
One master schedule
We built an integrated master schedule in Primavera P6 linking design, construction, equipment, IT and activation to the move day.
IT as a critical system
Network rooms, nurse call, imaging systems and the electronic health record are scheduled with the same rigor as the mechanical plant.
Monte Carlo on move day
Quarterly risk runs give the board P50 and P80 dates for the move, with the top risk drivers named.
Dashboards for the board
A Power BI dashboard reads straight from the schedule and cost data, so the board sees one version of the truth each month.
Where it stands.
A hospital move has one day and no second chance. Every schedule on this job now points at that day.
